Welcome, Eagles!

This is going to be another wonderful year for our Junior High. I am excited about all that God has in store, the lessons you will learn, the friendships you will build, the fun activities we have planned, and the wonderful and caring teachers who are ready to invest in your lives. I hope you are excited too! At Immanuel Schools, it is our mission to equip you to serve God and neighbor with mind, body, and soul, based on a Christ-centered foundation.

Our theme this year is Be the Light, based on Matthew 5:16:
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.”

Jesus calls each of us to be a light in a world that often seems filled with darkness. Light brings hope, reveals truth, and points people in the right direction. As followers of Christ, our lives should reflect His love, grace, and truth in the way we speak, serve, and care for others. Our goal is not to draw attention to ourselves, but to live in such a way that others see Christ in us and give glory to our Heavenly Father.

Being the light doesn't always mean doing something extraordinary. Often it is found in the everyday moments, choosing kindness over criticism, standing for what is right, encouraging someone who is struggling, or showing forgiveness when it is difficult. Every day, God gives us opportunities to represent Him to our classmates, teachers, friends, and families. Even small acts of faithfulness can have an eternal impact when they are done for His glory.

Students, my prayer is that this year you will grow in your relationship with Jesus and allow His light to shine through you. If you do not yet know Christ, I pray this will be the year you discover His love and choose to follow Him. If you already know Him, I pray you will continue to grow in your faith and boldly reflect His character wherever He leads you.

Your teachers and I are looking forward to walking alongside you this year. We are excited to encourage you, challenge you, and help you grow both academically and spiritually. Together, let's make this a year of shining brightly for Christ as we seek to Be the Light.

Sincerely,

Parent Testimonial:
"We are so incredibly happy and feel blessed to give our daughter the opportunity to attend Immanuel. Not only is she receiving excellent education from her teacher(s), but she is learning about Christ and the conservative values we have as a family. We are incredibly supportive of Immanuel's fight to let children be children and will continue to support this mission in the coming years."
