Welcome, Eagles!  This is going to be another awesome year for our Junior High. I am excited about what you are going to learn, the fun activities we have planned, and the wonderful and caring teachers ready for the year. I hope you are excited too.  At Immanuel Schools, it is our mission to equip you to serve God and neighbor with mind, body, and soul, based on a Christ-centered foundation.

Our motto this year is God is Faithful. It comes from our theme verse in Psalm 36:5 "Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.”

What a promise we have in that verse.  Our God is Faithful.  Being faithful is referring here to who God is in his very essence.  If He were not faithful, He would be a liar and our salvation, forgiveness, and hope would crumble to pieces.  But our God is no liar.  He means what he says and does what is right always.  He will not let us down.  He will not turn his back on His children.  He will stay constant even when we turn away.  Instead, because He is Faithful we can rely and trust Him in every aspect of His word and who He is.  There is no deceit or wavering with our Lord.  Because of God’s faithfulness, we can live our lives following God’s words and can experience the hope, love, forgiveness, and freedom found only in Him.  I’m reminded of the verse in Lamentations 3:22-23 that reads “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”

In order to know that God is faithful all we need to do is pause and remember His past faithfulness in our own lives and in generations past.  Isaiah 46:9 says “Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me.”  There is no one like our God!  Junior Higher’s, as you approach this year, you too can learn to trust and remember the faithfulness of God.  If you do not yet know, Jesus, I hope this will be a year in which you discover his steadfast pursuit and love of you and I pray that you would choose to follow him.  For those that already know Jesus, I pray this year provides fresh opportunities for you to reflect on His unwavering faithfulness to us and that it builds your trust and love in Him to greater depths.  Your teachers and I are looking forward to pointing you to Jesus and getting to know each of you.

Let’s bask in God’s Faithfulness together this year!

Sincerely,

Parent Testimonial:
"We are so incredibly happy and feel blessed to give our daughter the opportunity to attend Immanuel. Not only is she receiving excellent education from her teacher(s), but she is learning about Christ and the conservative values we have as a family. We are incredibly supportive of Immanuel's fight to let children be children and will continue to support this mission in the coming years."
