Welcome back, Eagles!  This is going to be an awesome year for our Junior High. I am excited about what you are going to learn, the fun activities we have planned, and the wonderful and caring teachers ready for the year. At Immanuel Schools, it is our mission to equip you to serve God and neighbor with mind, body, and soul, based on a Christ-centered foundation.

Our motto this year is Standing on TRUTH. It comes from our theme verse in John 8:32, “and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

What a promise we have in that verse.  The truth will set us free.  The truth being referred to here is not whatever we want it to be but what God’s word says it is.  His word is the truth that we rely on and trust.  When we live our lives following God’s words, we experience freedom only found in Him.  There is much in this world that can entangle, ensnare, and blind us to the truth but Jesus provides a relationship and a way to be freed from the lies.  I am reminded of another verse in John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Junior Higher’s, as you approach this year, you too can be Standing on TRUTH.  If you do not yet know the freedom that is only found in Jesus, I hope this will be a year in which you discover who he is and that you would choose to follow him.  For those that already know Jesus, I pray this year provides more opportunities for you to continue learning how to deepen your relationship and trust in Him.  Your teachers and I are looking forward to getting to know each of you on a personal level and helping point you to Jesus both in and out of the classroom.

Let’s stand in His truth and experience His freedom together this year!

Parent Testimonial:
"We are so incredibly happy and feel blessed to give our daughter the opportunity to attend Immanuel. Not only is she receiving excellent education from her teacher(s), but she is learning about Christ and the conservative values we have as a family. We are incredibly supportive of Immanuel's fight to let children be children and will continue to support this mission in the coming years."
