Welcome to Immanuel Elementary
Welcome to the 2026–27 school year at Immanuel Elementary School!
I am humbled and blessed to begin another year with this incredible community as I continue to serve as the IES Principal. Whether you are new to our school or returning for another exciting year, thank you for the privilege of partnering together in the joyful task of equipping every child to serve God and serve others with mind, body, and soul—firmly rooted in a Christ-centered foundation.
Our theme for this year is Be the Light. In Matthew 5:16, Jesus says, “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” This verse reminds us that God has called each of us to reflect His love, truth, and grace in everything we do. As followers of Christ, we are not meant to keep His light to ourselves but to let it shine brightly through our words, our actions, and the way we care for others. Our desire is that every student at Immanuel would grow in their relationship with Jesus and boldly shine His light—bringing hope, kindness, compassion, and truth to their classrooms, their homes, and their community, all for the glory of God.
To our families: At Immanuel, your child will continue to engage in a dynamic academic experience while forming meaningful relationships with their teachers and classmates. Whether they are exploring literature and math, science and social studies, worshiping in chapel, serving through outreach, or discovering passions through arts, athletics, and extracurriculars—your child will be encouraged to shine the light of Christ in all they do while growing in the knowledge and love of Jesus.
To our students: You are not here by accident. God has placed you at Immanuel for a reason and a purpose. Every day is an opportunity to make a difference by showing kindness, choosing integrity, serving others, and sharing the love of Jesus. My prayer is that this year you will grow closer to Him and confidently Be the Light, allowing others to see Christ through the way you live and bringing glory to our Heavenly Father.
In Christ,
