Visual & Performing Arts
All of our elementary students attend music class once or twice a week!
- Students learn to read, notate, listen to, analyze, and describe music using musical terminology.
- Students apply vocal and musical skills in performing a varied repertoire of music. They compose and arrange music and improvise melodies, variations, and accompaniments, using digital and electronic technology when appropriate.
- Students apply vocal and instrumental musical skills in performing a variety of music. They compose and arrange music and improvise melodies, variations, and accompaniments, using digital and electronic technology when appropriate.
- Students apply what they learn in our weekly chapel meetings and special events throughout the year.
- They develop competencies and creative skills in problem solving, communication, and management of time and resources that contribute to lifelong learning and career skills.
