Welcome, Eagles!

This is going to be another great year for our Junior High. I’m excited for all that God has in store; the things you’ll learn, the memories you’ll make, and the growth that will take place in your hearts and minds. We have fun activities planned, and your teachers are already praying for you and preparing to guide you both academically and spiritually. At Immanuel Schools, it is our mission to equip you to serve God and neighbor with mind, body, and soul, based on a Christ-centered foundation.

Our theme this year is Anchored in His Word, based on Psalm 119:11:
“I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.”

The world around us is constantly shifting. Opinions change, values drift, and truth is often redefined by culture. But God’s Word remains steady, unchanging, and true. When we hide His Word in our hearts, and not just memorize it, but treasure it and live by it, we are anchoring our lives to something that will never fail. His Word is our compass, our foundation, and our anchor in the storms of life.

This verse reminds us that the fight against sin and confusion doesn't start with trying harder; it starts with God's truth taking root deep inside us. When we’re anchored in Scripture, we can recognize the lies of the enemy and stand firm in Jesus Christ (the Word who became flesh). His Word doesn’t just give us knowledge; it gives us life, direction, and strength to walk in obedience.

Students, you are confronted with many messages, from friends, from media, and from within your heart. Some may sound or look good, but they won’t be grounded in truth. If you’re not anchored in Christ and God’s Word, you’ll drift. But if you are, you’ll be able to weather every storm and remain steady in every season. This year we’ll be focusing on knowing Scripture, applying it, and letting it shape how we live.

If you don’t yet know Jesus or haven’t developed the habit of reading His Word, I pray this year opens your eyes to His truth and love for you. For those who already know Christ, I pray this is a year of deep growth where God’s Word becomes not just something you hear at school or church, but something you cling to and build your life on.

Your teachers and I are committed to helping you become firmly planted in God’s truth. We’re excited to walk with you as we all learn what it means to be Anchored in His Word.

Let’s dig deep, stand firm, and grow strong in Him together this year.

Sincerely,
Brad Krause

Parent Testimonial:
"We are so incredibly happy and feel blessed to give our daughter the opportunity to attend Immanuel. Not only is she receiving excellent education from her teacher(s), but she is learning about Christ and the conservative values we have as a family. We are incredibly supportive of Immanuel's fight to let children be children and will continue to support this mission in the coming years."
