FOGGY DAY INFORMATION

Foggy days will be decided and announced by 6:00 am!

There are several ways you will be notified:
- We will send a text notification to your mobile phone through FACTS.*
- We will send an email through FACTS with more detailed information.*
- You can tune into Channel 30 for their foggy day updates, or check their website at abc30.com/fog.

*Please review your contact information in FACTS to ensure it is accurate for all parties who should receive the text and email notifications! Our FACTS District Code is “is-ca”.

Below are the foggy day schedules to be aware of:
Plan A: 2-hour delay, school starts at 10:00 am. Bus pick-up will be 2 hours delayed from regular time. 
Plan B: 3-hour delay, school starts at 11:00 am. Bus pick-up will be 3 hours delayed from regular time. 
Plan C: 3-hour delay, school starts at 11:00 am. Morning buses are canceled.
Plan D: School is canceled.

Other reminders (K-12th grades) regarding foggy days:
- Foggy days that fall on Wednesday will not be early release. Elementary will be dismissed at 2:55 pm. Junior high and high school will not have their flex period but instead will be dismissed at 3:00 pm.
- Both the elementary & junior high/high school offices open at 9:00 am on foggy day schedules.
- Afternoon buses run at normal times on Plan A, B, or C.
* The cafeteria will not be serving breakfast on any foggy day schedule. 

Lunch information on foggy days:
Elementary: For Plan A a hot lunch will still be served, but the menu items are subject to change. There is no scheduled lunch for Plan B & C, but students will have a 15-minute break.
Junior High and High School:  There is a shortened lunch break for Plan A (30 minutes). The cafeteria will be open, but the menu items are subject to change. There is no lunch break for Plan B & C, but students will have a 15-minute break and will be able to make purchases.
