Intervention/SOAR

Intervention & SOAR

At Immanuel Schools, we are committed to providing students with the support and resources needed to thrive. We continually develop and expand our programs to meet the diverse needs of our students, helping each one grow and succeed in a Christ-centered learning environment.

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. – Psalms 139:13-16

Immanuel Intervention:
The Immanuel intervention program provides multiple levels of support to help students succeed in their general education classes. Through collaboration among intervention staff, teachers, students, and families, we provide individualized accommodations and small-group instruction to help students build skills, grow in confidence, and reach their potential.

Immanuel SOAR Program:
Specialized Opportunities for Academics and Relationships
The SOAR program offers a specialized learning environment for students who have academic needs beyond what can be met in a general education classroom.

Elementary SOAR
The Immanuel Elementary SOAR program provides a separate classroom setting with a 5:1 student to staff ratio with modified instruction based on students' individual needs. Teachers use individualized research-based curriculum and instruction to create a highly engaging education with a family-like atmosphere. With multiple mainstreaming opportunities each day, SOAR students have the ability to form relationships with peers throughout the campus while having their academic needs met.

Junior High and High School SOAR
The Immanuel Junior High and High School SOAR program provides a specially designed education plan for students who are on non-diploma track. Students have the opportunity to develop meaningful peer relationships throughout campus.  They are able to gain functional life and job skills through working in our coffee shop and cafeteria. Students have their individual academic needs met in appropriate SOAR and general education classes.
