Meet Mr. Fridlund
Joshua is a Kingsburg native and a graduate of Kingsburg High School. After high school, Joshua attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where he received a bachelor's in Agriculture Science with a minor in Soil Science. After spending a year in the agriculture industry working for a non-profit that supported schools in growing school gardens, Joshua realized that God was calling him into teaching. He then attended Fresno State to receive his credential in Agriculture Education, with additional clearances in Life Science and Earth and Space Science.
Joshua spent the first two years of his teaching career at Kern Valley High School in Lake Isabella before God called him back to the Central Valley and to Immanuel. Joshua is currently the 7th, 8th, and IPESC science teacher. Outside of work you can find Mr. Fridlund reading, painting, and when he finds time talking long walks under the stars.
A favorite verse of his is Psalms 19:1 "The Heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”
