Foggy Day Information
Check the website, the Immanuel App (please turn on notifications), or TV Channel 30 (or their website: abc30.com/fog) to confirm the status of foggy day schedules for Immanuel Schools. We begin posting information by 6:00 a.m.
New this year, we will also be able to push out a text through FACTS to let you know when we are on a Foggy Day Schedule. We encourage you to check your contact information in your FACTS Family Portal to ensure that it is up to date.
Below are the Foggy Day Schedules to be aware of:
Plan A - 2 hour delay, School starts at 10:00 a.m.
Plan B - 3 hour delay, School starts at 11:00 a.m.
Plan C - 3 hour delay, School starts at 11:00 a.m. Morning buses are canceled.
Plan D - School is canceled.
Other reminders (K-12th grades) regarding foggy days:
Foggy Days that fall on Wednesday will not be early release. Elementary students will be dismissed at 2:40 p.m. while Jr. High and High School will dismiss at 2:45 p.m.
Both the Elementary & Jr. High/High School Offices open at 9:00 a.m. on Foggy Day Schedules.
Afternoon buses run at normal times on Plan A, B, or C.
Lunch information on foggy days:
Elementary:
Plan A, hot lunch will still be served, but the menu items are subject to change.
There is no scheduled lunch for Plans B or C, but students will have a 15 minute break.
Jr. High and High School:
There is a shortened lunch break for Plan A (30 minutes). The cafeteria will be open, but the menu items are subject to change. Students will be allowed to charge.
There is no lunch break for Plan B & C, but students will have a 15 minute break and will be able to make their usual breaktime purchases.
